Meet Winston — 1.5 year Cattle Dog Terrier Lab Mix rescued from the Chowchilla shelter where he was found as a stray. There is little to no foot traffic at this rural shelter, with no adoptions to the public, so Winston waited for almost 6 months before coming to HFP!
Winston is the perfect medium 45-50 lbs. Active, loves toys, fetch, has been practicing his swimming. Does well with dogs given slow intros, but not a dog-park candidate at this point. He would do well with a few dog friends and consistent walks with dogs.
A dog-savvy, active home with a flexible work schedule. Teens ok.
