Puppy Lug came to HFP with his sister Lucy after being given away for free on facebook. Lug stayed by his sick sisters side as she battled parvo. When he tested positive for Parvo his symptoms were luckily mild with no complications and he recovered in a few days. Even when he was sick, he was always checking in on sissy Lucy.
Lug is a BIG boy with a BIG heart — he plays hard but he loves harder. Lug has a rough play style and will benefit from a big dog sibling who will appreciate puppy energy and can play back/help teach him. He does not have the best bite inhibition so should be in a home without kids. He can be wary meeting new people (alert barks and runs away), but once he knows you he loves you and loves to lay in your lap, get belly rubs, and snuggle on your chest.
Lug will benefit from dog-experienced owners with a big backyard and a dog-role model. Our best guess Lug will be about 85-90 lbs full grown is our best guess.
$400 adoption donation includes neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and utd on monthly preventatives (flea tick treated and dewormed).
