Meet Jimmy! A 2-3 year Bull Terrier Cattle Dog Mix. Jimmy was picked up as a Stray from Porterville CA so we do not know much about his life prior to arriving at HFP.
Jimmy is a perfect medium size 45 lbs and short coat. He can be nervous/hand-shy meeting new people but warms up very quickly with treats!
He has tested well with numerous dogs.
Very obedient, well-behaved, treat motivated and smart.
Jimmy is a quiet dog, who is housetrained and travels well in the car.
Moderate activity level, but would do best with a couple or person that has a WFH or flexible schedule — he has not been left alone for long periods in foster due to WFH & does have some signs of separation anxiety that will most likely improve with time and consistency in a home.
Due to hand shyness/nervousness meeting new people, he would do best in an adult only home.
Jimmy does have high prey drive towards squirrels so needs a small-critter-free home.
His favorite thing is going for long walks/hikes and walks PERFECTLY on leash.
Jimmy also thinks he’s a lap dog and loves to cuddle with his people
Housetrained, crate trained.
Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and flea tick treated.
$250 adoption donation.
