The Great Pyr Litter

Meet our GP litter — 3 male puppies left (Hank, Oso, and Happy) — owner surrendered from a local farm. This litter was an accidental litter as a result of a neighbor pyrenees and an unspayed pyrenees (mom has since been spayed). Unfortunately the father who belonged to the neighbor was hit by a car and died. We are committed to finding these puppies the very best homes!!

14 weeks old they grew up outside with other dogs on the property. Well-fed and loved on as best they could by the people who had them, they had never been off of the property before or met many people prior to coming to HFP.

They will be BIG dogs full grown (expect 110-130).

Preference to homes w/ land, experience with GP or LGD, homes with friendly dog role models.

Great Pyrenees are stubborn giants with high coat mantainence high bark frequency and known to roam. We will be addressing this breed’s specific needs in their placement. Local shelters are seeing a rise in GPs due to people believing they look like goldens or labs, but not understanding they are a working breed meant to protect livestock.

$600 adoption donation — three shots, dewormed, flea tick treated, fecal tested, microchip (free life registry) — adoption contingent on XL spay neuter agreement policy (12 months).
