Hope

Meet Hope!

Rescued from a life on a chain, her former owners moved away and left her behind. She came to HFP very pregnant and a few short weeks later delivered 9 amazing puppies. All her puppies were adopted to happy homes… now it’s her turn!

Hope currently lives in a foster home with a large and small dog whom she loves and is friends with.

She is friendly meeting all new people, playful, happy and would love an engaging home with a dog friend and a big yard.

65-70 lbs -- she is barely more than a puppy herself at 2 years old.

Hope was adopted for a few months by a family and during that entire time she was “perfect” worked closely with a trainer who also never saw any issues with Hope, however sadly she was returned after an incident with the 17 year old who she snapped at and made contact on face (no stitches required or puncture wounds made).

Her foster parents who have taken care of her for months because she was originally pregnant/nursing, are veteran fosters and call her one othe best dogs they’ve ever had.

We are not 100% sure what led to the incident and still very much trust Hope and have yet to see any other concerning behaviors.

Hope has a great command of basic cues, and walks well on leash, she has met many people throughout her time with us and been a star.

We are hoping that Hope’s next home is her forever ever.
