Meet Puppy Ziti -- 3 month Catahoula Mix female
Rescued with her siblings from the Pasta Litter; Owner Surrendered to HFP because they had an untreated skin condition so they could "not be sold" by the family who had them.
They spent their first 2 months of life on a farm with other dogs and kids. They arrived to HFP and went to foster homes and got vetting and care. Treated for Puppy Strangles, they have made vast improvements in a few weeks and are now ready for their forever homes!
Ziti is sweet but shy and would do best in a home with another dog friend + experienced adopters and or people willing to enroll in training to help them guide her!
Looking for homes with:
1. Experience raising dogs / and or willingness to enroll in training
2. Flexible work schedule / time to devote to all things puppy (plus all things dog the next 12-15 years)
3. Plans for continued socialization, training, positive exposure; daily exercise and life-long vetting + Care
4. Preference to homes with friendly dog role models for the more shy puppies in the litter
Kids: Many experts recommend kids over 5 years of age for placement with puppies 2-3 months old, but HFP will accept applications with families that have young children + assess complete application holistically and on an individual basis.
