Meet Maybelle (fka Misty)!
Maybelle is an estimated 11 month, 60 lb herding breed mix (true mix unknown).
She was very shy when she first arrived but has always been gentle and wants to trust. She bonds quickly to her people. She loves getting pets and giving kisses. She is is SO smart and trainable

Everything is still very new to Maybelle as we guess she most likely never left the property she came from prior to landing at HFP
She did have a litter young but has been a wonderful mom to her babies, even though she herself is just a baby.
Maybelle is housetrained, and good with other dogs. She would LOVE a dog friend in the home -- an adult only home would be recommended for Maybelle as she can be easily startled and nervous of new people/loud noises.
Maybelle can still be shy meeting strangers so will need patient adopters committed to relationship building, trust/confidence building and training. A quiet environment with a big backyard to play on would be ideal.
A quiet home that does not require her to meet tons of strangers would be best (which is different from practicing socialization in controlled settings).
