Meet Bayley!
Bayley is an 8 month old female German Shepherd mix, 50 lbs and spayed.
Bayley was originally purchased as a puppy off of craigslsit. Unfortunately her owner is almost 80 years old and Bayley has too much energy/strength for him to properly care for her and provide her with daily walks and play time.
Bayley is a loving and active puppy. She loves being outside and meeting new people. She is very friendly towards people, especially females, and other dogs. Unfortunately, I have tried to train Bayley, but it has been extremely difficult to do so because of my age, so she does energetically and excitedly jump on visitors. She is strong and can be rough in her play style.
Bayely knows her cues "sit", "lay down", and "come". She is still learning things like not to mouth or jump excitedly on people.
Bayley has done well meeting other dogs and passes on leash without reaction. Cats unknwon.
How is your dog meeting strangers?: Bayley gets very excited when meeting people. If she is on a leash, she will pull towards the person whom she is meeting. If she is off leash, she will jump on the person she is meeting.
Where does the dog sleep?: Bayley sleeps in her crate.
Is the dog crate trained?: Yes
Where do you keep your dog: In the house and outside in the yard on leash.
How does the dog react to being left alone?: If I leave Bayley home alone, most often times she is in her crate. But I have let her out of her crate before and she has been fine. She does bark when I leave the house but stops.
Please list any particular fears your dog has.: I really haven't noticed anything that she has been afraid of since I have had her.
Does the dog like riding in the car?: Yes
She loves chewing on bully sticks, thick ropes, and other chew toys. She likes to play tug-of-war and play fetch. Bayley loves to have her belly rubbed, go for walks, be outside, chew on bully sticks, eat treats, have puppacinos from Starbucks and go on car rides. She prefers the company of females, but is still loving towards males.
What does the dog dislike?: Bayley dislikes not being able to run freely outside, which is part of the reason why I am re-homing her, because I don't have that kind of outside space that is safe and fenced in for her. She also dislikes going into her crate, so I have to bribe her with treats to go inside.
IBayley has the biggest heart, she is full of curiosity, and she will be excited to see you everyday.
The ideal home will be active and ready for continued young dog training and daily mental/physical activity.
