Meet Chip!
Chip is a loveable and happy little bundle with the cutest underbite. She was estimated to be approximately 10 years old but acts like a very mature puppy.
She currently is being fostered in a home with a 12 year old chihuahua mix and a 2 year old medium/large shepherd mix, and she does well with both--she does not actively play with either dogs but still enjoys their presence and company. She is okay being around large dogs if they respect her space. She has not been tested with cats but has shown interest, curiosity, and gentle affection towards a neighbor’s cat on several occasions. She is great with gentle kids and is shy with new people at first but will warm up to them quickly.
Chip loves and lives for human attention and will sit on your lap as long as you let her. She would be happy with a human who would let her sleep on the bed with them. She doesn’t necessarily love to be inside a crate but will quickly give up and will take a nap as long as there are blankets and pillows inside.
Chip enjoys taking daily slow walks but does not require a lot of activity level. She also does well inside a car but would prefer to be on somebody’s lap during the ride.
Chip does not get destructive when left in the house. She does not care for toys but is very treat motivated. She has only barked occasionally when another dog barks in her presence.
Chip needs a home where at least one person will be willing to spend time with her by allowing her on their lap, couch, and bed.
