Meet Junie!
Junie is a sweet, friendly, playful spayed and vetted 5-6 month old pittie mix puppy. She will probably grown into a medium/large adult (45-50 lbs; parents unknown).
Junie is very friendly with people, big and small. She is happy, extremely loving, and always ready to play and head out on an adventure. A true cuddle buddy. She is very interested in small animals, so no kitties for her. Junie is doing great in her foster home with her house training, sleeping in her crate at night, and car rides. She is also already working with a trainer on intro dog skills (sit/stay/wait/touch, etc).
She is fostered in a home with other dogs and kids. Junie loves kids, has been very gentle with kids in her foster home, and would fit in great with dog savvy kids 5+. She loves the company of dogs, so a home with a confident, well mannered med/large adult dog is ideal.
Junie has lots of puppy energy and needs an active home with a yard where she can run, sniff, and play. She loves to walk, has a busy motor, and is on the higher energy side. She excels with consistent daily exercise.
Junie needs an adopter that is fully committed to attending training classes and/or working 1-1 with a trainer. This is a must for her. Breed experienced or prior puppy/dog training experience preferred. Her adopter must be willing to do active, on-going training in things like leash neutrality, sit/stay/wait, impulse control, greeting other dogs when appropriate. She loves other dogs, so plans for continued positive exposure to other friendly, confident known dogs are a must.
Junie loves to be with her people and is very much a Velcro puppy. She needs a person or family that is home a lot. She will need “alone time” training and is not a good fit right now for someone that has to leave her alone consistently.
$450 adoption donation includes vetting, vaccinations, spayed, up to date on monthly preventatives.
