Meet Summer!
Summer is a 25lb middle-aged (best guess 7-8yo) dachshund/terrier mix that showed up at the doors of our dear friends' Tijuana-based rescue. No one came for her, but she is so deserving of having a loving, secure, forever home. Upon arriving to the US she was fully vetted & has no outstanding medical issues. For an older gal, she's in great shape. Loves walks, hikes, and to run around the house.
Ms Summer LOVES every one (kiddos included) and will always great you with a wagging tail (& wiggly body). She is the best snuggler as well, and loves to be held.
She is also great on leash and loves taking walks with her big foster brothers. She is potty-trained. She has gotten used to all dogs we have introduced her to but takes to smaller dogs faster. She is in a foster home with 2 dogs over 80lbs, 1 12lb dog, and 3 cats. While she would not hurt a cat, she loves to chase them, so her ideal home has no cats (for the cat's sake).
This little one sure is special, and will make her forever home filled with happiness & light.
