Meet Lucky!
Lucky is a male 2 month old Cattle Dog / Terrier Mix puppy currently being fostered in Davis.
Lucky is a goofy, sweet boy! He loves to wrestle with his 75 pound dog foster brother ; we are not sure he is aware of his size! He loves napping in the sun, next to his sister and foster brother, and enjoys nothing more than when you’re nearby.
He seems quite fond of the hose but when it comes time for a bath, he could win an Oscar for his theatrics. He’s playful and funny and quickly learned that our resident kitties are not playmates. He doesn’t show much interest in our backyard chickens as he would much rather play tug with a member of his own species. He’s a smart boy who does great in the crate and has really been receptive to potty training. Little Lucky is quite the charmer!

Ideal home will:
- Have experience raising puppies AND OR commitment to training/willingness to learn
- The time to commit to all things puppy w/ solid plans for puppy socialization, positive exposure and continued training; commitment not just to puppyhood but to a lifetime of love, care, companionship and vetting
- Preference to homes w/ friendly & well-trained dog role models (preference, not required)
- Preference to homeowners w/ yards (preferred not required)
