Meet Q-Tip!
Q-tip is an approximately 6-8 year old Maltese who came to us obese from an overcrowded Central Valley shelter. We know nothing of her prior life, however she is very friendly & happy. She is low energy & is currently on a strict diet & exercise regimen to try to loose weight. Her obesity put her at risk of several conditions. She is scheduled for a dental cleaning on June 20th then will be ready to go to her forever home.
Her forever home must continue to keep her at a healthy weight (she WILL over-eat), continue to take her on walks, give her lots of love & cuddles, and ideally has no other dogs or only senior/low energy dogs.
She does not enjoy having young, spunky, or larger dogs in her face, and prefers not to interact with them. She is in foster with 2 other dogs and cats and is getting ample socialization with other animals and people. She would love a place to call her own where she can cuddle, nap, and go on long walks.
She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and up to date on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption donation is $350.
