Tee

Meet Tee!

Tee (short for T-Rex) is a 5-year-old chihuahua mix. She weighs 4.8 pounds and is currently in foster with other small dogs. Tee has a congenital deformity in her front legs that limits their full use, but she doesn’t let that stop her from scooting around in the house or bounding through the grass in the backyard chasing her foster brothers. Her front legs are fully formed, but her paws are turned around at the wrist, so she uses her front elbows to get around.

Here’s what her foster has to say:

-Confident and calm despite her size and physical shortcomings; she does not know she has a disability! She’s equally happy exploring her space or cuddling in your lap during a Netflix binge session.

-Quick learner and very eager to please her people. Loves everyone she meets; very affectionate.

-Housetrained; loves her crate and loves to burrow in blankets.

-Small (and quiet) enough to be taken to the office (or on the road) with you! She loves her padded pet carrier and loves to be taken places.

-Prefers carpeting to hard floors; might do best in a mostly carpeted home.

-Would be fine as an only dog, but would also do well with other dogs her size. She loves to play with her foster small breed brothers (even though she can’t keep up with them; she loves to watch them run around). Has not been tested with cats. Fascinated by backyard chickens (does not bark at them).

-A 3-D printed front wheel cart is currently being made for her (will go with her when adopted).

$250 adoption donation includes spay, rabies, dhpp, heartworm / 4dx tested, fecal tested and flea tick treated/dewormed
