Meet Mia!
Mia is a 11-12 month old female mixed breed, 40 lbs. Mia is just as happy, loving, and goofy as they come! She adores every human and dog that she meets. With people, Mia does not understand her size so does need some basic training and to learn boundaries. She loves to cuddle, give kisses, and roll over on her back for belly rubs. With dogs, Mia is very submissive and playful but also takes correction very well and respects the space of the senior dogs in her foster home. She currently lives with three senior small dogs and a playful younger large dog and does exceptionally well with everyone. She has also made friends with the neighbor dogs and has regular playdates. We do not know Mia’s history with cats but she does attempt to chase the neighborhood strays on walks. She is confident, energetic, loving, and adventurous; just a big joyful puppy! She is potty-trained and crate-trained but does tend to get into mischief around the house when she gets bored. Mia really is at her best with adequate exercise and stimulation. She has improved greatly on a leash while in foster care but does have a tendency to pull (especially when she spots a squirrel) so would do best with a confident handler. Though she does need a bit of polishing, Mia has an incredible demeanor. It is impossible not to fall in love with her once you meet her (this is your warning). An ideal home for her would be with an active owner/family committed to training who is ready to receive all of the love! She will brighten up your day and keep you laughing with her goofy spirit.
