Meet Sarah!
Sarah is a 6 month old shepherd/LGD mix. She currently weighs around 40lbs and is expected to be 70+ full grown.
Sarah is a sweet, wiggly, gentle and loving older pup. Good with dogs, cats, respectful kids - she will be a wonderful addition to many types of homes. Sarah arrived at a shelter as a stray, so we don't know much about her life prior, but are here to make sure she lands a great forever family going forward.
Sarah loves going on walks and wants to say hi to every human that walks by, and may even try to walk away with new friends that she makes. People who meet Sarah comment on how pretty and sweet she is and are surprised at how well behaved she is for her age.
Sarah is mild mannered, polite; She loves cuddles and spends the majority of her time inside sleeping, or chewing on her bone.
Outside, Sarah loves running around on grass and chasing humans and other dogs. Sarah is very quiet and does not bark often. She does struggle with separation anxiety, and will howl and cry if you leave her outside of the home by herself, or even with another dog. Every day sarah is learning to be more confident being by herself.
Sarah is mostly potty trained and has had few accidents inside. She is learning the word potty and is good at pooping on leash, but has not yet peed on leash. The ideal home will be committed to a lifetime of love, companionship, and care: daily walks, playtime, cuddle time, and commit to confidence building all musts.
