Fern

Meet Fern!

Hiya, I'm Fern, a spirited 2-year-old husky with a heart as big as my fluffy tail!

First things first, I'm like a burst of energy wrapped in fur. Yep, that's me! I thrive on attention, so if you've got love to share, I'm all ears... and paws!

Now, I'm no stranger to little humans and furry pals. I've been around kids aged 2 to 12, and I've wagged my tail alongside many other dogs. Never once have I shown any signs of aggression.

Sure, I get a tad excited sometimes, and I might jump up on people, especially the older and sturdier kiddos. But fear not, I'm a quick learner. Tell me to stop, and I'll listen. I've got manners, you know!

Like most huskies, I require plenty of exercise so I need a home that's as lively as I am. Daily exercise is my life line – 1 to 2 hours of it, to be precise. It keeps me from getting bored and, you know, engaging in some problem behaviors like chewing. And let me tell you a secret – I can be a bit of an escape artist if I'm not properly exercised or stimulated. Apparently, it’s a really common husky behavior!

Moving on to some of my strengths, I'm a smarty-paw! I'm 100% potty trained, and I've mastered some cool tricks like sit, stay, down, look (eye contact), and giving a friendly paw. I'm basically a canine genius.

A home with another doggie friend would be perfect for me. That way, my fur-iend can help me come out of my shell and stay calm when the humans are out.

I’ve started warming up to people and my future home will need to continue building my trust toward humans. But hey, Rome wasn't built in a day, right? Another perk? I rarely bark! I'm just a happy, friendly furball with my peeps. Up for an adventurous life with me? I’ve been waiting quite awhile for you!

Fern's Adoption Donation is SPONSORED! Includes - spayed rabies dhpp bordatella and chipped.

You might be wondering what “sponsored” means. A dog is sponsored when their foster or a donor loves them so much that they cover the adoption donation for a future adopter. This in hopes that the pup finds his or her forever family ASAP! <3
