Meet Lucas!
Lucas is a three year old neutered male husky who is full of love. Lucas is a very mellow husky and would make a great addition to pretty much any family. He is great with other dogs of any size; he lived with his sister Luna (also available for adoption) and a small dog in his first home and currently is in foster with many dogs of various sizes. Lucas loves people and would love to be inside with his family. He doesn’t require a lot of exercise and is very happy to be inside or outside with his family. He would love a yard as he loves to sit in the sunshine. Unlike many huskies, Lucas isn’t a big barker/howler and has not shown any escape-artist tendencies in his foster home.
Lucas is OK left alone for periods of time (can be in a crate or free roaming), is housetrained, walks nicely on a leash, and is just generally a very respectful family member in the house. He doesn’t jump up on people but loves to lean in for petting and affection. Lucas would do well with a family with kids, a first time adopter, a new to husky adopter, or a single person just looking for a best friend.
