Foster, foster-to-adopt or adopter needed for Mr. Logan.
Logan is a 5 year old pit hound mix (best guess) neutered and great with dogs/people!
He would be a perfect companion dog as his temperament is relaxed and super affectionate and cuddly once bonded. He flourished in his first foster home with two other active dogs and was right at home in the garage observing patiently while his owners tinkered with loud tools and did yard work.
Logan was rescued from the Euth list due to time/medical. We were told that he had torn ACLs and a spinal issue that combined made him a poor surgical candidate. When first taken from the shelter his lack of strength was noticeable. However, since starting a consistent medication regimen and being taken on frequent long walks, he has noticeably improved and now enjoys mild hiking trails and gentle play with other dogs.
We provide food supplies and cover vetting costs! He is also adoptable with a medical waiver and 1 year of pain meds & injection covered by us!
Logan would do best in a home with no kitties! He’ll be happy as a clam just to be by your side, whether it is on the couch, in the backyard, or on long car rides!
