Meet Bandit!
Bandit is a 1-2 year old Husky Mix (37 lbs).
-Crate trained, House trained – currently has access to backyard
-Very sweet, affectionate, wants to snuggle close and loves pets/affection.
-Can be shy/skittish – Slow introductions with people, but friendly.
-Shares home with 1 small dog and 1 cat, respects cat’s space but still occasionally tries to play. Listens to older dog’s warning barks/messages.
-Gets along well with smaller dogs than him, has been exposed to dogs as small as 6 pounds, and plays gently; also tested well with dogs at the shelter.
-Bandit can feel a little insecure on leash and display mild leash reactivity towards large dogs but is easily redirectable and does great when treats are around
-Recommend home with teens + or adults only
-He will alert bark and husky howl/talk when excited, but has not displayed excessive barking indoors.
-Some bouts of playful puppy energy, but settles down quickly.
-Loves naps, puzzles, toys, walks, and sitting in the cat tree watching outside. Will bring toys to you or other pup to play.
-Does well in the car, but needs to be strapped in, as he likes to try to hang too far out the window.
-Has not shown any destructive tendencies (other than toys) or escape-artist skills, but has not been left unsupervised in the home/yard.
-Bandit is typical husky mix and will need regular exercise, brushing and continuous positive socialization and training.
