Meet Gus Gus!
Gus was born in a HFP Foster home and lovingly handraised by Director Sam and her family in 2021. Gus was adopted to a family but recently returned due to his increasing anxiety around the youngest child. Gus is friendly meeting new people and kids and we are not sure what was implemented in the home or the details of the relationships between family members but due to the last situation we will be looking for a home with teens or adults. Gus is a 2.5 year shepherd/terrier (best guess!) mix.
Gus is good with other dogs -- appropriate and neutral -- he has dog friends he plays with but will also give dogs their space and is co-existing in the same home with 7 other dogs ranging from small seniors to large young male dogs.
Gus is housetrained, neutered, healthy, moderate energy, sleeps through the night, non destructive. He is good on leash and well-behaved in the home.
The ideal home will be with teens or adults only in a calm environment. He doesn't ask for much but has a TON of loyal love to give! A home that will allow him snuggles and daily walks/play is all he asks for.
$250 adoption Donation: includes neuter, vaccinations, microchip and up to date on monthly preventatives
You might be wondering what “sponsored” means. A dog is sponsored when their foster or a donor loves them so much that they cover the adoption donation for a future adopter. This in hopes that the pup finds his or her forever family ASAP! <3
