Meet Lola!
Lola was adopted through HFP just over a year ago. Sadly due to the past adopter being diagnosed with Cancer she is now in need of a new home.
About Lola: Lola is a sweet, eager to please, loving and smart girl! She is 20 months, and is good with dogs. Once she knows someone, she gets very excited when they come visit and will want to lick them and get petted.
Lola is housetrained, crate trained and does not have seperation anxiety! She knows many cues like sit, platz, stay, down and come.
Lola plays with other dogs- "Lola is submissive and usually gets along fine with other dogs. She is not leash reactive. She is mostly curious and wants to sniff other dogs but will not engage in aggression."
Past training: Lola knows how to retrieve her ball; she runs next to the bike (on the right side) and knows her basic commands as sit, stay, platz/ lay down and come. She has a trainer take her on different outings, usually in the neighborhood.
Does the dog have any known health problems?: No
Does the dog like riding in the car?: Yes
What is the dog's favorite things Kong and some other rubber chew toys, rope toy, Chasing the ball, running after squirrels, Belly rubs, treats, playing with her dog buddy
What does the dog dislike?: Loud noise from equipment like trucks, flapping flags
Men in baseball caps can make her a little nervous but with the right intros to new people she recovers well.
Does the dog jump kiddie gates or fences?: No
Is the dog a digger?: No
The ideal home will be committed to a lifetime, active, and take her on bike rides, play fetch, and provide lots of love.
