Meet Hank!
Hank is a 2 year old neutered chocolate lab who has been been an absolute joy around people and has tested well with dogs. Hank was rescued from Solano County Shelter where he underwent an FHO surgery, which is a very common procedure in which part of the dog’s femoral head (thigh bone) is shaved down to help with early hip dysplasia. He has about 75% use of his back leg post surgery, but he doesn’t let that slow him down at all!
His favorite activity in the world is swimming for this reason and he would LOVE a home that either has a pool or opportunities to swim. He loves playing and running in the yard, but will not need long walks every day to stay content and happy. We think this boy is a diamond in the rough.
