Berkeley

MEET BERKELEY! A well-adjusted, friendly, happy 5 yr boxer/staffy mix who was rescued from the Contra Costa Animal Shelter in Martinez Ca where she landed as a stray.

HOUSETRAINED, MODERATE ENERGY, FRIENDLY, WELL-BEHAVED

Dogs: Berkeley is very appropriate meeting dogs on leash and in public. She either pays them no mind, or happily wags her tail. She is easy to walk in crowded places with other animals around. She would do fine in a home without another dog — she may do ok with another dog in the home given proper incorporation to the family with a well-matched dog of similar energy.

Cats: Unknown.

Kids: Due to some handling sensitivities around her FHO surgery site, a home without kids would be best though she greets them nicely in public.

Housetrained, walks well on Leash, travels well in the car, loves snuggles the most!

Exercise needs: Berkeley is the perfect moderate activity level. She would enjoy hikes and daily walks but does not need to run 10ks every day to stay happy and content.

Current Location: Berkeley is being fostered in Davis with 5 UCD students in an home setting.

$200 adoption donation. Berkely is spayed, vaccinated (DHPP, Rabies, Bordatella), microchipped and up to date monthly preventatives (flea medicine and heart guard). 45 lbs, 5-6 yrs.
