Bodie was raised on the HFP Rescue Ranch from 3 days old until 2 months old. We rescued his mama and siblings from the Stanislaus County Shelter in Modesto where they were born. Bodie was adopted as a puppy and then rehomed a year later due to change in work schedule. Unfortunately after moving to his second family, Bodie became protective against some visitors (males) in the home. This is not uncommon for a dog who has gone through extreme changes in a short time and lost a family. He will need the right person to work with him on these insecurities and build a strong bond of trust with him.
Since returning back to us at the ranch, Bodie has been friendly with all the dogs and people (including visitors) that he has met here.
Bodie has lots of training under his belt and is smart, loyal and trainable! We have no doubt in the right setting he will THRIVE.
Bodie is active, goofy, playful; great with dogs, no separation anxiety or destruction in the home, housetrained, 67 lbs.
