Buddy (Formerly known as Fozzy) was adopted through HFP 3 years ago, but now in need of a new home.
He is an easy going guy who would do wonderful in a quiet suburban neighborhood. He loves naps and spends much of the day sleeping on the couch.
While Buddy did well meeting dogs 3 years ago while in our program, he has been reactive towards dogs since being adopted and should be the only dog in the home.
He is very happy without dogs and will live a very happy life with humans but does not need to interact with dogs. Buddy is very sweet to all people.
He would do well in a home with kids 10+ . Housetrained, no separation anxiety, moderate energy and well behaved! Approximately 75lbs
Buddy’s adoption donation is SPONSORED! Includes rabies, dhpp, bordatella, microchip, and up to date on monthly preventatives.
Original Bio 2020:
Meet Fozzy — He’s a pit bull mix rescued from Porterville shelter where he was found as a stray so we do not know much about is his life prior to HFP.
Fozzy is vetted, neutered, vaccinated, chipped, hw/fecal test, and housetrained
This squishy and beautiful pittie is an excellent mix of walking/workout buddy and couch potato/WFH companion.
Fozzy would do best in a quiet, calm but moderately active home in a quiet neighborhood with adults and or older teens (only because loud and sudden noises kids make could startle him).
He has tested well with dogs at his original shelter, as well as HFP dogs. He does best meeting calm and friendly dogs & can be nervous around more rambunctious dogs.
He would be happy to be only pet in the home — he simply wants to be someones lap dog!
No cats for Mr. Fozzy as they are way too fun to chase!
Good in the car and excellent traveling to new places.
Takes treats gently + Treat motivated to help with continued training. Fozzy is also praise-motivated and eager to please! he has great potential to continue to blossom into a wonderful dog in the right home! his foster moms absolutely adore him.
