Delilah

Delilah is a happy, playful, active girl who was sadly left in a backyard most of her young life before coming to our program in Feb 2018. Despite her rough past she is still trusting, affectionate, perfectly house trained/ non-destructive in the home and a great car traveler. Delilah may do best with a friendly dog role model in the house to play with & role model from.

The only thing holding Delilah back is leash reactivity. Delilah gets so excited passing new dogs that her impulse control sky rockets. She has already made huge strides but will need a committed family to give her a consistency in training and daily structure/boundaries to keep up with her progress. Delilah already knows sit, down, paw, wait, look, and is eager to learn more! She was under-socialized as a young pup so can sometimes greet dogs too abruptly/with too much energy.

She loves all the dogs on the ranch though and adjusts according to their personalities (good with big, small, puppy, young and old.) She has also lived with dogs in foster homes and cats too! With Cats Delilah needs to be supervised and can be in a room with them but should not be left alone especially in the beginning.

Delilah has so much love to give and is ready to finally find a family that will love her and understand her. 2 yr, 60 lbs. Adoption donation: $150 includes Spay, Vaccines, Microchip and utd on monthly preventatives.
