Honey

Our foster and volunteer Jenna pulled Honey in June 2018 -- this poor baby girl had mange up to her eyeballs, a yeast infection, an eye infection, overgrown nails, and was terrified of EVERYTHING. For a while, we weren't even sure we could help her...we couldn't even touch her the first 2 weeks. Fast forward 4 months and lots of meds and Honey is a new woman!

We are so, so glad we didn't give up on her. Now healed and rehabbed, she's blossomed into a happy, spunky girl full of personality and quirky antics. She is total BFF material: she'll do spins when you come home, wags her tail at almost everybody, can walk down a hallway on her hind legs, chases flies around the house, loves walks and her Kong! She still isn't comfortable around large dogs, but has lived with and loved the company of small dogs (5-25 lbs) and cats! She would thrive as an only dog as she adores attention and her people or in a home with some itty bitty fur siblings! Due to her past neglect (fast movements and rough touch still scare her) and tiny size, she is not suited to a home with children.
