Marmalade

Whatch how marmalade spends her first hours arriving in her foster home - she knows she is finally safe!🥰

Marmalade was Rescued from the Sanger shelter the day before she was set to be euthanized simply due to time and space.

Marmalade belonged to an irresponsible central valley backyard breeder who used her for years as a cash crop churning out litter after litter for sale.

Now she deserves to be someone’s cherished best friend and family member.

4-6 yrs old, has met and done wonderfully with children. While she has tested well with dogs before, she is currently leash reactive and will need a breed-savvy home to help her reacclimatize with other dogs/continue to socialize in safe/one on one settings slowly over time/ with a trainer. Right now she would do best as an only dog in the home!!

Gentle, sweet, well-behaved in the home.

Marmalade’s only/biggest weakness is her leash manners (pulls very strong) and reactive seeing dogs on leash.

We would recommend a skilled handler for this behavior and or willingness to enroll in training to address.

A quiet neighborhood would be best!

Who can give this most deserving girl a chance at a happy life?

5 yrs, 70 lbs, $150 adoption donation includes spay, vaccinations, microchip, and utd on monthly preventatives.
