Meet Maddie!
Maddie was Owner surrendered to HFP (through no fault of her own).
5-6 years, spayed, 75 lbs
Has lived with both dogs and kids in the past
Housetrained, crate-trained, knows basic commands like sit and shake!
Here’s what Maddie’s foster has to say:
“Maddie’s perfect day would start with a few hours cuddling on the couch with you, followed by a leisurely walk with lots of stops to sniff everything. After some training practice with treats, she’d like to nap for the rest of the day.
She is happy to nap in her crate but would prefer if you don’t leave her alone. She sleeps in the crate at night. She won’t let you know if she needs to go potty but will try not to pee in the house. She is good in the car but needs help getting in and out.
She is cautious with new people and needs slow introductions but with the right approach she will melt for you and expect you to rub her belly for the rest of the day. She behaves well in the house but sometimes needs to be reminded of her indoor manners.
She knows sit and shake. She is learning down, stay, off, and no. She is smart and picking up new tricks quickly.'“
Due to her cautiousness with new people we are recommending an adult only home with bully breed experience.
