Puppy Dee Dee

Puppy DeeDee and her sister Lucy came to us after a woman who took them in a few weeks prior reached out for help. They originally were an accidental litter to a homeless woman’s dog. The woman saved them from a bad situation and held onto them for 3 weeks, making sure they got to the vet and their first shots before coming to our program. They are happy little pups who will most likely be under 15 lbs full grown (breeds listed are simply best guess, we do not truly know.) They are friendly, wiggly, social puppies who will need committed forever homes of their very own.

Looking for homes with:

1) Flexible work schedule/time to commit to puppy training, socialization and life-long companionship

2) Preference to homes with experience owning dogs

— Home owners w/ fence yard preferred, not required. Plus for friendly, gentle dog role-model in the home, not required.

$375 adoption donation includes cost of first wellness exam, up to date on first shots, microchipped, spay/neuter, dewormed/flea tick treated, + a free vet visit to your local banfield hospital.

Our Puppy Adoptions are slightly higher as they generate the majority of the funds to pay it forward to longer term residents, special-needs, and medical-needs cases… Think of it as a “cuteness” tax

The cost of the Spay/Neuter is included in the adoption donation and appointments will be pre-scheduled based on your availability, through HFP in Sacramento, California no later than at 20 weeks of age. Per contract If an adopter cannot make it to Sacramento for their appointment, adopters must provide proof of surgery no later than 20 weeks of age. Adopters must finish any age-appropriate shots for puppies at their own cost, and also agree to provide proper vetting and care for the dogs’ lifetime. Failure to provide proof of surgery by agreed upon time frame, may result in steps to take the animal back.
