Puppy Jackson

Meet Puppy Jack Jack! This adorable little boy would do great in a home with a friendly dog-role model, cats, and older kids.

About: Rosie’s litter comes to us from the Central Valley as owner surrenders. This little family was an accidental litter and were kept contained in the backyard with 2 other dogs. Though the people were very nice, they didn’t get their adults fixed and so puppies happened. They did not know how, or have the means to care for young puppies so they came to us for help. The puppies have been vetted, received their first vaccinations, microchipped, and treated for parasites.

Mama is a 30 lb retriever spaniel mix and Dad is a 50-60 lb shepherd hound mix. The puppies are sweet, playful, and looking, committed homes ready for the next 15 years of dog ownership.

Looking for homes with:

  • Flexible work schedule (puppies will have a hard time adjusting to an 8 hour work schedule) — New owners should have the time to devote to puppy training, socialization and life-long companionship

  • Preference to homes with experience raising dogs/willingness to enroll in training if first-time owners

  • Preference to home owners with fenced yards

  • Preference to homes with friendly dog role models

$375 adoption donation includes neuter, up to date on first shots, microchip, dewormed/flea tick treated, a free vet visit to your local banfield hospital.

The cost of the Spay/Neuter is included in the adoption donation and appointments will be pre-scheduled based on your availability, through HFP in Sacramento, California. If an adopter cannot make it to Sacramento for their appointment, adopters must provide proof of surgery before 20 weeks of age. Adopters must finish any age-appropriate shots for puppies at their own cost, and also agree to provide proper vetting and care for the dogs’ lifetime.
