Little Dude Ronnie is a spunky, happy, 22 lb Jack russell/Dachshund mix looking for a JR Savvy couple or owner to call his forever family! Ronnie is:
- good on leash
- great in the car
- housetrained/non-destructive in the home
- fine being left alone while you are working
- moderate activity level -- can run a bit but also snooze and relax
may do well with a small female dog in the home
- not a huge barker/doesn't yap at dogs on walks
Ronnie is looking for a no-nonsense owner who will not let him do his "little big man growls" . He is currently living with 4 adults in the home 2 men and 2 women and loves all equally; he is also living with a cat and 9 dogs in the same home and co-existing well. He can be "growly" at times to the big dogs walking into his space but is mostly just vocal. No growls to dogs his size or smaller.
He has been very easy to foster, and we ignore him or correct his growls & he knows he "has done bad." Ronnie doesn't like strangers petting him or picking him up at first so a kid free home would be best.
Once he knows and trusts you he will be your bestest friend & most loyal companion!
