Yogi is a sweet, loving, spunky boy full for heart! He and his brother Boo Boo were found as stray with fur so matted and dreaded, they could hardly see or move! They got groomed, vetted, and all better in hopes of finding their forever families.
After their 30 day stray hold was up, they came to join us at HFP rescue in search of a better life.
We recently learned Yogi has a grade 5 heart murmur — this means he will not be able to be put under anesthesia for a neuter due to the high grade. Dogs with high grade heart murmurs can and do live a number of great years, although unfortunately, Yogi most likely won’t make it to the predicted 15 year range mini poodles can.
He does not have any physical symptoms such as coughing or short energy — he is good/playful with other dogs and loves your affection!
An understanding home that can provide him with a wonderful life for as long as he has is desperately needed for this sweet angel who got the short end of the stick.
A home full of love, companionship, who take him out on daily walks, and of course lots of cuddles a must.
