ABOUT US
Hearts for Paws is a 501c3 Nonprofit, founded in the Fall of 2016. HFP aims to build a passionate community connecting animal lovers to the animals most in-need.
HFP saves animals from overcrowded kill-shelters and neglectful situations. Our dogs & cats live in volunteer Foster Homes where they receive individual, one-on-one attention.
We rescue animals throughout California and beyond; adoptions are open to qualified homes in and out of state with priority going to local adopters.
Since November 2016 Hearts for Paws has rescued over 2,200 dogs.
Our 5 year goals include:
To offer low cost spay/neuters to low income households through a spay/neuter van
To add an educational component to the organization through youth education
To provide outreach to low-income dog-owners assisting with supplies, food, spay neuter, and educational outreach
To assist shelters through Hearts for Paws “Running Dog Program” by providing enrichment & exercise for at-risk dogs in shelters while networking them for adoption/fostering.
Our Board of Directors are composed of Davis' top professionals in their respective fields.
