Brody loves other dogs and loves the dog park. He tends to become submissive with other dogs if he finds them to be loud or barking at him. He loves to play and interact with other pets. Brody did do a 1 week board and train at a trainer's house that utilized clicker training. He is very smart and can learn a lot, but he just needs someone to dedicate time to training him. He can sit and lie down very well and knows "in the box" to go to his crate. He is highly trainable but just needs the time as mentioned above.

He is very affectionate, so he loves to cuddle and snuggle up with you and will try to get as close as possible. He likes getting a lot of attention and being petted. As mentioned, he is very sweet and affectionate and so he wants to cuddle up to his loved ones. He likes to run. He likes riding in the car. He likes mental stimulation games. He likes to watch the tv and will notice other dogs on there where he might whine seeing them.
He likes his tummy scratched and will sleep on his back with his legs up in the air. He dislikes loud noises from items in the kitchen or on the tv.

Does the dog jump kiddie gates or fences?: No

Brody definitely needs a home with a yard. I really need to stress that. Ideally, an experienced dog owner would be great. An owner who has a lot of time to spend with him and who has other animals would be ideal as well.

Current schedule: During the weekday, Brody tends to wake up by about 7am and eats breakfast by about 8am. He goes on 1 walk a day around my neighborhood with the occassional dog park about every few weeks. He eats dinner about 6pm. He has been left home alone about 6 hours a day. He will go to bed about 10pm.

Please provide a summary of the “ideal” home for your dog:: The ideal home for Brody would entail probably a family or a person who will be home with Brody a lot. Someone active who is an experienced dog owner who would like to bond by training him would be great. The home should have a yard and probably another dog to keep Brody company as I think he needs other dog companions to see on a daily basis.
