Where did you get this dog?: CRAIGSLIST

How long have you owned this dog?: 1 YEAR AND 1 MONTH (since he was 2 months old)

Why is the dog being given up?: He requires more attention than I can give him. Beau may do best as an only dog in the home as he can get jealous over resources around other dogs including love and attention, or with a submissive well-matched dog.

Is your dog housebroken?: Yes

What is the dog's favorite : HE LOVES ANYTHING WITH STUFFING SO HE CAN SHRED IT, BUT I GIVE HIM STUFFING FREE TOYS AND HE LOVES TO TAKE OUT THE SQUEAKER. ROPE TOYS AND TENNIS BALLS, ANTLERS AND RAWHIDES ARE HIS ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. I ALSO GIVE HIM A KONG WITH TREATS IN IT. HE PLAYS FETCH FAIRLY WELL AND REALLY GETS WILD WHEN HE HAS THE ZOOMIES. HE WOULD PREFER TO PLAY WITH A DOG THAN A PERSON.

What does the dog like?: HE LOVES FOOD AND BEING PET, BELLY RUBS. ANTLERS AND OTHER BONES, STUFFED ANIMALS. LOVES THE DOG PARK!

Is there anything else you can share that is special, unusual, or endearing about your dog that will help the new owners?: HE CAN BE A GOOF BALL! MOST THE TIME HE IS SELF ENTERTAINING WITH TOYS. HE IS INCREDIBLY SWEET WITH PEOPLE ONCE HE IS COMFORTABLE WITH THEM

A little about Beau: If he is not exercised enough or provided with toys and attention he will go into my kids room and take things off their beds/desk and shred them.

We have another dog in the home. Beau does very well at the dog park & ok on leash using gentle leader. He has shown jealousy to other animals over treats and attention.

Does your dog have handling sensitivities? How is your dog meeting strangers?: Beau can be timid with new people but once he knows and trusts he is very loving.

Does the dog like children?: Yes

Are there children in the home?: Yes

What are their ages?: 11, 9, 4

Where does the dog sleep?: ON A DOG BED OR IN MY KIDS BEDS

Is the dog allowed on your furniture?: Yes

Is the dog crate trained?: Yes

Where do you keep your dog: He is in a crate during the day.

Please list any particular fears your dog has.: Vacuum/noises similar + bath

Desrcibe any training the dog has, tricks it knows, and any experience with a trainer.: He knows sit, paw, down, speak, off

Does the dog have any known health problems?: No

Does the dog like riding in the car?: Yes

Are there any things you think a new owner needs to know?: ALTHOUGH HIS IS MIXED WITH BASSET HOUND, I HAVE NEVER HEARD HIM HOWL.

Please describe a typical day for your dog during the workweek (what time wake up, when eat, how many walks a day, where to -- dog parks, trails, neighborhoods, runs, etc), how long left home alone, what time to bed?: HE IS LET OUT AROUND 6:30 AM, FED RIGHT AFTER AND PUT INTO THE CRATE FOR THE DAY ABOUT 7:15-7:45. HE IS LET OUT AROUND 3:15 PM TO GO POTTY. HE THEN WILL PLAY EITHER IN THE HOUSE OR THE BACKYARD WITH A TOY OR OUR OTHER DOG. IF OUR CAT IS OUTSIDE, HE WILL CHASE HER AROUND THE YARD. HE EATS DINNER AROUND 5:30 AND BEDTIME IS AT 9.

Please provide a summary of the “ideal” home for your dog:: BEAU NEEDS SOMEONE WHO CAN GIVE HIM MORE ATTENTION AND TIME TO WORK WITH HIM ON COMMANDS AND KEEP HIS INTEREST PEAKED. HE NEEDS A YARD TO GET OUT HIS ENERGY OR SOMEONE WHO CAN TAKE HIM TO THE PARK OR DOG PARK REGULARLY. HE WOULD BE OK WITH ANOTHER DOG IN THE HOME, BUT THEY NEED TO BE SUBMISSIVE.

$250 adoption donation: neutered, vaccinated, chipped, utd on monthly preventatives.
