Meet Puppy Maizey!
Maple was rescued from the streets of Mexico with her littermates and mama. She is a playful, intelligent, active 12 week old Mexican street mix who was born in a junk yard in San Filipe.
We are not sure her actual mix but our best guesses include Pit Pointer — best guess 55-65 lbs full grown — Mom was a very sweet mutt with a wonderful disposition.
REQUIRES:
Structured home that will continue with a schedule, crating, and professional training
A well-trained, well-balanced dog role model in the home
Experienced owners / bully experienced owners
Activity — including both mental and physical stimulation. Again, she THRIVES with structure
**Preference to Southern California applicants with a role model adult dog & large breed/pitbull experience, and a yard**
Adoption donation: $400 *helps us cover preliminarily vetting & transport from Mexico, first & second round of DHPP vaccines, Bordetella, spay, dewormers, flea/tick prevention, & microchip.
HFP will provide a $100 reimbursement for proof of enrollment in Professional training!
**Currently in foster in San Marcos, CA** Available for adoption anywhere in CA but MUST complete adoption application, approved zoom interview and be able to meet and greet in person.
