Shadow

Shadow was rescued from the Fresno SPCA where he first landed as a stray and then on the euthanasia list because he was so terrified in the kennels. He spent his days trembling on his cot and hiding in the corner. When shelter workers were able to get him out of the cage they were able to see a sweet, gentle dog longing to trust. Great with other dogs and may do well with calm role model dogs in the home to continue to gain confidence from. We were able to rescue him thanks to a foster offer. He is now in a foster home in Auburn.

He has met kids and is very sweet and gentle with them. He follows his fosters around the house and feels comfortable in the home and the backyard, but not yet outside in the big world. He is learning how to walk on a leash and slowly learning about the outside world. The ideal home will be patient, positive and gentle to continue to allow him to come out of his shell. Happy tail wags, and a best friend for life will be your reward! 2 years, 50 lbs.

$200 adoption donation includes: neuter, vaccinations, microchip, free wellness exam to a banfield pet hospital and up to date on monthly preventatives.
