meet pony!
Pony is a 5 month old mixed breed male, currently about 40 lbs (est. 65 lbs when fully grown). He is fostered with other dogs and kids aged toddler-teen. Pony is very sweet, loves attention and cuddles, and very gentle for his age/stage and size. Pony is a “best friend” kind of guy. Pony has made great steps on his young dog potty training.
Pony would do best with a family that is home during the day and needs an adopter willing to continue working on him being left home alone. He bonds very strongly to his person so he struggles with being alone. He would love to have a playful dog sibling as he loves to play with his Foster’s dogs. Cats unknown. Pony loves long walks, running in grasses, looking for gophers, and exploring nature. He needs consistent daily exercise and stimulation so his adopter should be seeking an active dog, but once he gets his needs met he is very easy around the home.
Pony needs to continue to work on his young dog leash skills as he gets over stimulated on leash. His adoption includes 5 donated training sessions with Saturn Dog Training for Sacramento area adopters.
$450 adoption donation includes includes age-appropriate shots, microchip with free lifetime registry, deworming, flea preventative, and spay/neuter agreement addendum.
